I didn’t know what to expect when I walked into L’Action de Grâce for the first time. I thought it would be another event — music, food, maybe a sermon. But the moment I stepped inside, something shifted. The atmosphere was alive. People weren’t performing; they were worshiping. They weren’t talking about God; they were meeting Him.

When I first heard about L’Action de Grâce, I was skeptical. My faith was fading, my finances were broken, and I was too tired to believe that anything could change. But a friend insisted I come to one of their thanksgiving nights. I remember walking in and thinking, “These people are too joyful to understand what struggle feels like.” I was wrong.

My wife and I were on the edge of giving up — on each other, on our business, on everything. We hadn’t prayed together in years. One night, scrolling on social media, she came across a video of L’Action de Grâce — people singing, crying, lifting their hands in worship. Something about it felt different. We decided to go.
